When you write your own wine reviews, and your readers get them for free without having to do any work or pay a single penny, you do get some lee-way as to how you run your site.  I am going to take that free reign to describe the 1995 La Dominque.  First, read all the nice things I said about the 1990 and 1998 La Dominues here in these VinoCritic archives.  When you're done, read the more mediocre review I gave to the 1999 La Dominique.  Take these good and the mediocre reviews, come up with a relative average of the two, and you have the 1995.  The wine is velvety smooth, but is fading a bit and losing it's punch.  No off-putting flavors, just a little light on the mouth compared to the 1998 and 1990.  Was this review a cop-out?  Probably.  But you get what you paid for, and you guys didn't pay a cent!

3.5 stars.
