I have had several bottles of this wine over the last year or two, and the variation between bottles is considerable.  At it's best, the wine still shows a strong fruit presence, and drinks like nirvana in a glass.  At it's worst, it has lost it's fruit and become leathery.  It makes it very difficult to score such a wine, particularly since the storage/provenance of the wines is suspect.

The last bottle I had was marked by slight cork taint, but showed plenty of vibrant fruit mixed with cedar, smoke and toasted bread.  The musty smells noticed when the wine was first opened blew off after about an hour, and the wine showed very well at that point.
