This wine was outstanding, and one of the better values when it comes to Echezeaux, one of the greatest wine growing villages in Burgundy.  This is Pinot Noir as it was intended.  Ethereal, earthy, with plenty of wild raspberry and smokey flavors and a long soft finish.
