I tried this wine a few years ago and was put off by it's relatively tannic attack, but those tannins have now settled down and the wine is drinking quite well.  Not a fruit bomb by any sense, but a well balanced wine with currant, blackberry, leather, and sage.  The wine finishes nicely with all components in balance, including the tannin.
