This wine continues to blow me away when one considers it floats around sites like WineCommune for 5 dollars per bottle with no bids.  It has won a lot of show medals in it's native Australia, but these do not generate shelf talkers or easy selling points in the good ol' USA.  At a recent party at my house, the wine was felt to be a very good 20 to 25 dollar Shiraz.  Jaws dropped when I told everyone what it sells for on the auction sites.  Of course, with the sites like WineCommune jacking up the shipping prices to the obscene level, the value suffers a little, but still worth looking at.  For those who want to try something other than Barossa Valley and neighboring regions, go east and try this nice wine from Gundagai.
