This wine was a tad bit corked, and starting to lose it's fruit, but showed a nice leathery-earthy nose, and wild cherry on the palate.  It is difficult to score this wine as it clearly has sat under a bad cork for many years.  It may have been a 4 star or better wine with a better cork, but showed at only the 3.5 level at best the way it was.
