Readers of this site quickly recognize my bias towards red wines over whites.  Rarely will I post a white review unless the wine is noteworthy.  Etienne Sauzet is a well respected name in Burgundy, and for reasons that are not clear, their white Burgundy wines seem to be showing up in big numbers at WineBid and WineCommune websites, and selling for roughly half the retail price.

This Puligny-Montrachet from a premier cru vineyard is excellent.  A toasty nose with nuances of fig, lime, and mango, followed by citrus and green apple with a rocky, minerally quality.  Finishes well.  Very very good.
