Grenache done properly is wonderful.  Done poorly it is harsh and forgettable.  This wine is an example of Grenach done perfectly.

Nice color, and a big bouquet of spice, pepper, and blackberry jam precede a fruit laden, sweet well balanced wine with well integrated tannin.  The wine will hold up well for a number of years.
