Whitehall Lane Leonardini Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 1995

This wine was badly corked, and had very offputting aromas in the bouquet.  Flavors were o.k., but could not get past the cork taint.  A perfectly good bottle sent down the drain.  Whitehall Lane now bottles it's Leonardini Cab, as well as it's Cab Reserve in a glass cork.  I applaud them for experimenting with new closures, as there is nothing worse in the wine world than cellaring an expensive bottle for a decade, only to have it contaminated with TCA from a faulty cork.

Unable to score.
