The only thing holding me back from a higher score on this wine was the somewhat soft nose.  This wine had a bright ruby color, a delicate bouquet of rose petals and strawberry, and a soft finish.  For those who like their Pinot's soft and "elegant", this velvety Pinot will fit the bill.  For those who like a more wild earthy Pinot, I suggest looking at the offerings from Santa Lucia Highlands, further to the north.  This wine retails for $52, which is about $10 more than many of the other high end Pinots from Santa Barbara County/Santa Rita Hills.
