I had never heard of this producer before, and tried the wine for the first time in late 2006/early 2007.  It is an estate wine, grown, produced and bottled by Long Vineyards in St. Helena.  The grapes are grown on a 2 acre site on Pritchard Hill, home to many fine vineyards.

I really liked the 2002 Long Vineyard cab, and found it accessible, lush, and elegant while maintaining a big and complex presence on the palate.

Just short of 4 stars.  Retail about $55 dollars
