This entry was posted on 2/10/2007 3:45 PM and is filed under California Cabernets.

This wine was tasted in February 2007 at Barcelona Restaurant in Scottsdale, AZ.  I was accompanied on this evening by Drs. Michael Foreman, David Oliverri, and Joseph Tuscano.

This wine seemed to divide the group in half.  Joe and I really liked it, but Mickey found the body too light.

Dark purple coloring, and a nice bouquet of black currant and toasted oak.  Not too much complexity, but tasty.  Tannin could have used another year of bottle age.

I gave the wine 3.5 stars, Mickey gave it 3.0.  Will post the other scores when Dave and Joe get back to me.
