This entry was posted on 2/8/2007 9:50 PM and is filed under California Cabernets, good value wines.

This was a rather nice wine featured at a discounted price at Wine Sellar and Brasserie.  The wine is a blend of 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Malbec.  The merlot adds enough softness to allow immediate enjoyment, but the cab packs enough punchy tannin to allow ageing, if desired.  Espresso, sage, and blackberry are the predominat notes here.  Nicely done.  3.5 stars, and may go higher with bottle time.

Full retail $38.00, but on sale at WineSellar for $25.99.  A good deal at this price.
