Flora Springs Rutherford Hillside Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 1997

A perennial superstar, the Flora Springs Rutherford Hillside Reserve never disappoints.  The 1997 has reached full maturity and is drinking beautifully.  Tasted next to the 1995, I preferred the 1997.  There is probably nothing to be gained from further cellaring.  The wine still has it's full bouquet, and has not yet started to amber at the edges like the 1995 has started to do.
