This entry was posted on 12/3/2006 11:33 AM and is filed under Champagne and Sparkling Wine.

Etoile is one of the labels produced by Domaine Chandon, one of Napa's most respected producers of Sparkling Wine.  Domaine Chandon, of course, is the California subsidiary of Moet & Chandon, one of France's most famous Champagne houses.  Chandon produces a Brut and a Rose' Brut under the Etoile label.  The Brut Sparkling wine comes from grapes grown in Napa (76%), and Sonoma (24%).  Both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes are used.  The wine is lovely, and has flavors of apples, almonds, and a touch of citrus.  A beautiful example of California Sparkling wine.
