This wine is starting to go past it's peak.  The wine had a lof of off odors when uncorked, but the nose improved after about an hour of decanting.  The wine had an amber/brick edge, a nose of saddle leather, sage, and a little black fruit.  The wine had a truffle like note on the palate.  The fruit was fading.  The finish long and pleasant.
