Thisis the second label from Lail Vineyards, producer of the ultra-premium "Lail J. Daniel Cuvee".  Blueprint is made from younger vines within their vineyards.  The 2003 Blueprint is 82% Cabernet Sauvignon and 18% Merlot.  The wine sells for between 40 and 50 dollars, and is available at several retail outlets including Bristol Farms and the Wine Exchange.  The wine has a lovely bouquet of mixed black and red fruit, with plenty of fruit on the palate.  Tannins are still a little tough, and although the wine is marketed as one for early drinking, I would recommend letting it age for a year or two for readers who like their tannins a little softer.
