Another lovely rose wine from the south of France, this is a great summer wine when you want something refreshing but want something with a little more complexity than most white wines.  It would also pair well with many seafood dishes, and seafood soups/stews with a tomato base (bouillabaise.  The 2004 Commanderie de Peyrassol Rose from Cotes de Provence is not quite up to the standard of some of the Bandol rose's, but it comes close and sells for about half the price (can be found for under 15 dollars).

The wine has an attractive pink color, a bouquet of softly scented roses and peaches, and lighter fruits and strawberry on the palate.
