Louis Jadot Beaujolais 2004

The ultimate supermarket wine for those who want something "French" but have no idea what they're buying.  This is pretty decent juice, in my opinion.  It usually sells for under 10 bucks, and comes out in the fall of each year.  The wine is fairly "grapey", as all Beaujolais are, and has plenty of fruit, not much on the nose, and very soft tannin.  A very pleasant wine indeed, light and refreshing.  A good red wine for a hot day, and a very food friendly wine.  The 2005 Beajolais wines will start hitting the shelves around Thanksgiving time.  Do not age them for more than a year.
