The Paul Hobbs caberents are all wonderful, but difficult to find, and relatively pricey.  Nevertheless, they remain outstanding examples of Napa cabernet.  The 2003 Paul Hobbs Napa Cab may be a little young for those who like their tannins soft, but will be enjoyed heartily by those who like a robust full bodied heavy cabernet sauvignon.  This wine has serious ageing potential, but is certainly enjoyable now.

3.75 stars for immediate consumption.  Potential for 4 stars or higher with a few years bottle age.
