Chateau Pichon Baron 1996 (Bordeaux; Pauillac)

In a recent blind tasting at my home, the 1996 Pichon Baron blew the doors off the competition which conisted of several mid-priced 1996 Bordeaux reds.  A universal hit at the wine tasting, and a solid 4 star wine.
