This wine was the universal highlight of a recent Pinot tasting at my home.  To quote attendee Professor Magnus Lofstrom "as a confessed cabernet drinker, I still can't help but love this wine and I give it a solid 4 stars, especially when paired with the salmon and veal chop that was served."

This wine is a quintessential Burgundy.  An ethereal bouquet of red fruit, campfire smoke, and baked cherry, followed by a layered drenhing on the palate.  The tannins here have softened to pure silk, and the lovely finish lasts and lasts.

All four tasters, myself included, give this wine 4 stars.
