A big wine with a lot of fruit and tannin.  A little rough right now due to untamed tannins, but the wine has all the stuffing to mature into a beauty.  40 dollars at the WineSellar in Sorrento Mesa.

3.25 stars for immediate consumption.  Close to 4 stars anticipated with 3 years in the cellar.
