This wine was decent, but not great.  The bouquet was light, the fruit was understated, and the acidity too prevalent.  Not enough earthy, gamey flavors that make for a great Bandol.  I have been getting burned on the last few Bandols I have tried.  I think for Bandol you are best off sticking to the very best producers (namely Domaine Tempier, and Chateau Pradeaux).  There are some other very good ones, but they are not widely available in the USA.

Wine was 35 dollars at the WineSellar and Brasserie.  It was bought and tasted in the spring of 2006.
