This is a phenomenal wine.  It is a blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, and petite sirah.  The exact proportions are not disclosed to the public, and guarded as a winery secret.

This wine has a dark inky purple color and an explosive bouquet of currants, boysenberry, and crushed plum.  The wine is highly extracted, and was obviously made from extremely ripe California fruit.  The oak integrates well, and the abundant tannin is well concealed behind a multi-layered wall of fruit, accented by mocha and chocolate notes.  The finish could not be nicer.

Although this is one of the best California cabs that I have had, it is extremely difficult to find, and horrifically expensive if you do find it.  If this wine was more available, it would probably garner wine of the week honors.
