This wine took about a half hour of decanting before hitting it's stride.  Dark purple color.  Nice bouquet of black fruit, earth  and smoky notes.  The fruit was subdued on the palate.  A little tart on first pour, but quickly coming into balance after breathing.  Smooth finish.
