This wine was wine of the week on the main VinoCritic web site for 3/12/06.  Read the full review by clicking here.  At VinoCritic, we loved this Rioja because it had the usual smooth as silk character of Rioja Reservas, but there was a really nice smoky note in the bouquet.  Nice smoky bouquet, crushed black fruit on the palate, and a smooth finish.  What more could you ask for.  The wine retails for 25 dollars, but was bought at Costco (Rancho Bernardo) for $19.99.  Leave your thoughts about this wine by clicking the link below.

3.75 stars, almost a 4 star wine for under 20 dollars.
