I first heard of this winery this week, but it turns out that they have been in business for over 30 years.  They have stayed small, and don't advertise.  They harvest grapes from their own estate vineyards on Spring Mountain in Napa.  This is a BIG BIG wine.  I think most people will find it at its most enjoyble with another year or two of bottle age.  It had a strong nose of plums, raisin and boysenberry.  There are a lot of chewy tannins here.  If you drink it now, let it decant.  This is a very small winery, and I think they only produce about 300 cases of their Cab each year.  If you can find it, and you like really big "in your face" California cabs, try this little jewel.  I think that if you like Dunn Vineyards, this one is for you.  3.75 stars.  I paid $39 for it at the Wine Connection in Del Mar on Via de la Valle.
