I drank this wine in 2004 and again in 2005, and both times it was excellent.  However, I get the feeling that it may start to fade in the not too distant future, as the tannin is melting away.  It is silky smooth and elegant as can be if drank now.  The wine is starting to get a little amber at the edges, but remains plum purple in the middle.  It still holds a classic Margaux bouquet with black fruit, vanillin, and smoky oak.  It is medium bodied for a Margaux, and has a finish that lasts for at least 30 seconds.  The fruit is still holding its youthful vigor, but I don't know for how much longer.  Excellent wine, worthy of the most special occasions.  4.5 stars
