This wine has a lot in common with the 1985 also reviewed on this site. Essentially, it is a slighlty more tannic version of the 1985, with a similar aromatic profile.  Not quite as sexy and hedonistic as the 1985, but it will probably keep longer due to the more prevalent tannin.  4 stars.
