I liked this wine very much. It was befitting the excellent company, and added to the experience. It tasted a touch young, but very enjoyable. If its tannins could be innocent and nubile, then that's what they would be. It had a joyous, vivacious youthfulness to it. It is the Lolita that is about to become a Sophia Loren. It went surprisingly well with Kobe beef, but held up to a variety of greasy appetizers as well. This is a very memorable wine, and I would gladly get more. I give it 4.25 stars.
